The Sydney jamboree event is one of SDR motorsport’s bigger race events of the year. The event was held at Sydney dragway on 6-7th April 2013. The Saturday didn’t get off to a good start as poor rainy weather conditions persisted and the event was cancelled till the following day. The Sunday morning weather was looking better for a good race day planned. Steve prepared his datsun coupe and with his new engine combo was looking good to run some good numbers. Having a few issues at the start line still managed 7.4@191mph. Just as the final rounds were about to begin, rain fell and the event had to be cancelled again.
